Named after a famous medieval Georgian poet “Shota Rustaveli”, it is a charming culturally rich street, and you have to spend some time just walking around the avenue.
The street starts at Freedom/Liberty Square, running along for about 1.5 KM, and along its sides, you will find some of the most important and magnificent buildings of Tbilisi, such as the "Parliament of Georgia", the "Kashveti St. George Church", the "Rustaveli Theater", the "Georgian National Museum", the "Tbilisi Opera House", as well as a lot of hotels, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops…etc. such a lovely experience.
